Pearl Izumi needed a new site and ad campaign that would reflect the passion and intensity of it’s core audience, the cycling enthusiast, as well as the development of community/social initiatives and customization of products and services.
Splashy, desaturated photography is used to convey a gritty, real-world quality while cropped typography of varying sizes create a sense of immediacy, energy and movement.

As part of a major rebranding initiative, I was tasked to develop interface designs for SAP's Business Suite software, bringing analytics and transactions together into a single real-time platform, including phone, tablet and web-based solutions.

In tandem with an ad campaign for Captain D’s seafood restaurants, I was tasked to create the digital components including a responsive website containing smart search functionality and video content. Closely cropped photos keep the focus squarely on the food while the design carefully establishes key elements of the brand.

Elana required a memorable brand identity that would reflect the simple elegance of their clothing.
A black and white palette was used to pop the colors of the clothing while straight lines created contrast against the curves of the fabric. The letterforms reinforce, support and connect the brand while the “E” can be used on it’s own as a mnemonic device, creating a distinctive graphic focal point.

Branding for Gravitas, a leading technology services firm providing Business Consulting, Software Development and Systems Integration to the finance industry.
Green represents the financial aspect of the brand and is associated with security, safety and growth, while the blue represents technology and denotes reliability, dependability and power. The G in the center of the logo creates a conduit between the two; a pipeline of data, communication and ideas.

The Lincoln Drivetime App gives clients access to a world of unexpected experiences and content, showing them facets of the road that they never knew existed.
Driver distraction is avoided by utilizing “hands-free” voice and audio capabilities. The App uses driver data, driving style and behavior to create a driver profile and sends an alert when it has relevant, useful and interesting content to share. Smart technology constantly adapts to better learn the driver’s preferences.
Kazzam needed an ad campaign to launch their new site which offers everything you need to book your party in one convenient place. By combining the three main pillars of their services (activities, entertainers and food) into one image, I could show the breadth of Kazzam's offerings in an immediate way without overwhelming the viewer.

App concepts and designs for JC Penney including a Style Me App for customizing and shopping for outfits, a Valentines Day gift guide and an Event Calendar for store events.

With this project, I wanted to reintroduce 70’s funk music legend Betty Davis to a new generation of listeners by creating a unique, engaging experience that reflected the mood and music of that era.
An interactive lava lamp serves as navigation allowing users to explore music and info about the artist by moving up and down the lava stream. The lava undulates to the music and changes color according to the selected section. It can be pushed and pulled like taffy to further engage the user.

Client: Bundoo Agency: Adoptive Role: Art Director Services: Web UI / UX design
Bundoo is an online community that provides professional advice, ideas, resources, support and tools for first-time parents.
For this site, I used a 960 pixel-wide 12 column grid along with a 6 pixel baseline grid for the text which was based on point size increments of 3. With this, I could exactly align elements to support the structure without the need for extraneous design. The focus is kept squarely on the content and a large amount of information is accommodated. Green is used sparingly to draw attention to important information.
